Rico’s Authentic Italian’s start came in 1982 when Rico was presented with the opportunity to materialize his dream of owning an Italian restaurant. Since his youth in Thousand Oaks, California, Rico collected delicious Italian recipes and made them his own. To this day, the Bolognese, marinara and puttanesca sauces, as well as the Caesar and creamy Italian Vinaigrette dressings, to name a few, are prepared daily by Rico’s prep chef, Juliana.
She and her 22 years of experience here have helped develop and perfect the homemade
recipes that our guests come back for year after year.
